FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to education and medicine, more specifically to methods of forming in students in medical institutions skills of professional competence "Auscultation of heart" and monitoring mastering of said competence and its improvement in working doctors. Method includes performing heart auscultation by student with separation of tones of heart. Student is instructed synchronously with auscultatory method to perform manual confirmation of auscultated tones with simultaneous auscultatory and visual monitoring by teacher of actions of trainee.
EFFECT: method allows to improve clarity of teaching process and faster mastering of professional competence "Auscultation of heart", as well as increasing diagnostic accuracy due to manual confirmation when selecting tones.
