FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cardiovascular surgery. Skin is incised from subcutaneous neck muscle and vertices of mastoid process to suprasternal notch along inner edge of nodding muscle. Sternocleidomastoid muscle is discharged laterally without delamination. Bifurcation is separated over length, sufficient for its repair. Further, common carotid artery is separated to aortic arch to left or brachiocephalic trunk to right. One dresses and transects thoracic duct flow at the left and adventive thoracic duct flows at the right. Omohyoid muscle is transected.
EFFECT: method allows adequate mobilizing both carotid bifurcation, its proximal one-third and vertebral clavicular artery with ability of combined reparative maneuver on them.
