FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: vertebrosubclavian arterial region is by-passed if observing occluded or stenotic first segments of subclavian and spinal arteries. A reversal external jugular vein is used as an auto-bypass for carotid subclavian and vertebrosubclavian and carotid vertebral arterial repair.
EFFECT: method enables reducing tissue injuries accompanying surgical manipulations by performing a surgery from one supraclavicular approach, a risk of postoperative complications in the form of thrombosis and re-stenosis by the absence of the evident valve at the reversal external jugular vein.
