FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mineral dressing by flotation and may be applied to processing of sulphide polymetallic, copper-zinc, and lead-zinc ores. Method for flotation of zinc sulphide minerals includes introduction of modifiers, collector, and foaming agents followed by extraction of zinc sulphide minerals into foam product. Additionally operation of zinc-pyrite flotation is employed, before which rubbing operation is conducted in presence of activated carbon. Selective reagent based on modified dithiocarbonate is used as collector for zinc sulphide minerals. Additionally, prior to main zinc flotation, rubbing operation is employed. Flotation of zinc sulphide minerals at temperature not less than 30 °C is conducted.
EFFECT: higher quality of zinc concentrate.
