FIELD: navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation. Navigation system comprises: device for providing map information and computer for generation of navigation information used for navigation of tracking movement. Computer is configured to: construct for geographical area located aside from the digitised street-highway network, grid, containing node points; determining, by means of provided map information, to displacements between interrupted grid points, one parameter of motion related to characteristic of resistance to motion of vehicle from one nodal point of grid to neighbouring nodal point of grid; finding, by means of specified parameters of movement path through several node points of the grid; and generating, based on found way, navigation information.
EFFECT: technical result is providing navigation of tracking of vehicle movement on roadless area.
