FIELD: seismology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismology and can be applied to measuring earthquake precursors. System comprises multiple primary sensors-photometers (1) for control of atmosphere optical density, operating in mode to monitor signals above specified threshold level. Photometer sensors (1) are spaced apart in space of earthquake hazard regions, and are subscribers of global telecommunication network (2) with central dispatch station (3). Central dispatch station (3) transmits addresses and coordinates of actuated sensor-photometers (1) to centre (4) of orbital group of space carriers (5). For supplementary exploration in detected zones onboard tools are used mounted on two-axle platform (11) of space carrier (5), consisting of coaxially mounted digital video camera (8) and multi-spectrometer (9), slot of which is aligned with centre of video camera (8), as well as chamber (10) for recording UV airglow above zone of imminent earthquake, buffer memory unit (12) for recording signals of said tools, and high-speed radio link (13) for transfer of registered signals to earth-based system (15) for control and data processing.
EFFECT: technical result is upgraded reliability of detecting zones of imminent earthquake.
