FIELD: control equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for contactless one-way active thermal nondestructive inspection of materials and can be used for thermal nondestructive inspection of articles in aerospace engineering, machine building and power engineering. Method for contactless one-way active thermal nondestructive inspection involves heating of inspected sample of optical radiation source and simultaneous recording of temperature of surface of inspected sample thermal imager. To provide automated control of duplicate articles in heating zone of optical radiation source together with controlled sample there is a reference sample. Sequence of infrared thermograms recorded during monitoring are processed by correlation analysis.

EFFECT: technical result is automation of process of non-destructive testing.
