FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to wheels with pneumatic tires intended for wheeled vehicles including tractors, harvesters, excavators and other vehicles with springless suspensions. Wheel for transport applications contains a rim (1) and a pneumatic tire (2) mounted on it. Tire cavity (2) has an elastic membrane (3) in the shape of a hollow torus that covers the rim (1) and divides the tire cavity into two cavities forming a circular working space inside the tire; that circular working space is connected with the inner portion of the elastic membrane via more than one valve-choker assembly (4). Elastic membrane encloses the rim and rotates together with it. Each valve/inlet pipe assembly has at least one valve and one control orifice. Proposed wheel design ensures a uniform distribution of the mass throughout the entire volume of the wheel, which considerably reduces the dynamic unbalance of the wheel, increases the durability of rolling bearings used in the undercarriage, while maintaining the high anti-vibration properties of the wheel.
EFFECT: elastic membranes that have dismountable construction allow to use similar wheel designs if a vehicle has a solid/one-piece rim.
