SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrode for fuel cell, which contains carbon nanotubes; catalyst for fuel cell applied on carbon nanotubes; and ionomer, secured to cover carbon nanotubes and catalyst for fuel cell, at that, if carbon nanotube length is designated as La [μm], while spacing between carbon nanotube centers is designated as Pa [nm], length La and interval Pa between centers satisfy two expressions given below: 30 ≤ La ≤ 240; and 0.351 × La + 75 ≤ Pa ≤ 250.

EFFECT: high output power of fuel element by increasing number of places on carbon nanotubes for application of metal catalyst per unit area is technical result of invention.
