FIELD: electricity; manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell. Method of making a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell comprises applying, at intervals, catalytic inks on a substrate sheet and drying the catalytic ink to form a catalyst layer on the substrate sheet and transferring the catalyst layer from the substrate sheet to the electrolyte membrane. Catalytic inks contain catalyst particles, ionomer, alcohol and water, and content of water in catalytic inks ranges from 57 % to 61 % by weight of total weight of catalytic inks.
EFFECT: technical result is prevention of defective transfer of catalytic layer on electrolyte membrane from sheet-substrate.
