FIELD: nuclear engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for taking samples in liquid or fluid state and can be used in nuclear reactors with liquid metal heat carrier for sampling molten heat carrier. Proposed device comprises vessel 1 for heat carrier sample fixation, tube 2 and pipeline 3 for connection of tank to line of vacuum pump. Tank 1 is arranged outside side wall of reactor. Lower end of vessel 1 is tightly closed with bottom, in which there is hole 4 for sample to be shut off for period of sampling. For heat carrier sample supply in tank 1 tube 2 is connected to it with one end. Second end of tube 2 is free and is located outside vessel 1 below tube 2 connection point with tank 1 and is intended for submersion into coolant. Channel 7 in side wall of reactor is inclined for passage of the of device in reactor inner space.

EFFECT: simplified design and improved radiation conditions during sampling.
