FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a light source, a proximal optical fibre, a second distal optical fibre, a tip and a cannula. The proximal optical fibre is optically connected with the light source and is able to function to transmit a light beam received from the light source, and the distal optical fibre is optically connected with the distal end of the proximal optical fibre for receiving the light beam and light beam emission for operative area illumination. The distal optical fibre contains a narrowed piece with diametre of the proximal end greater than that of the distal end. The tip is connected in operating condition with the distal optical fibre, and the cannula is connected in operating condition to the tip for placing and guiding of the distal optical fibre.
EFFECT: high throughput and matching ability of the proximal section of the fibre and a size of the focused light source spot.
