SUBSTANCE: cabinet for storage includes a housing defining a space for storage, and a storage compartment, arranged inside said storage space for storing product. Said storage cabinet additionally includes a source of heating, a steam generator, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a detector and a controller. Said controller is configured for regulation of environmental conditions of storage compartment in accordance with a certain preset value, which corresponds to a predetermined temperature and relative humidity.

EFFECT: controller controls such environmental conditions by obtaining read air temperature, relative humidity and detected type of product and activating and deactivating source of heating and steam generator in accordance with obtained air temperature, relative humidity and preset value corresponding to type of detected product and product storage time, in order to maintain air temperature and relative humidity within a predetermined range of a specified value.
