SUBSTANCE: storage appliance of fresh food contains a fresh food storage facility capable of storing a fresh product at a temperature not lower than temperature of cooled state; temperature tuning element capable of adjusting internal storage temperature of fresh food storage facility to a temperature not lower than temperature of cooled state; air flow generation element made to generate airflow within the storage facility fresh food; radiation element made to generate ozone or a radical by radiating of airflow with ultra-violet rays; and control element of interrupted irradiation capable to control radiation element for irradiating of airflow with ultraviolet rays in interrupted mode. Fresh product is stored in storage facility at a temperature not lower than the temperature of cooled state; airflow is formed around the fresh product; irradiate airflow with ultraviolet rays in interrupted mode and disseminate ozone or a radical throughout the region inside the storage facility by airflow.
EFFECT: fresh products are stored fresh for a long period of time without oxidative damage by ozone or radical.
