SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of cartridges for sports and hunting weapons. Method includes mounting of bullet, consisting of core, lead jacket, and shell, into case, encapsulated and filled with gunpowder, with crimping case mouth around perimeter of guide part of bullet. Before crimping case mouth, treatment of mouth inner surface by grinding is performed, wherein wall thickness is specified with due allowance for grinding treatment.

EFFECT: higher hit accuracy of sports and hunting weapons due to increased manufacture accuracy of cartridge cases.
