SUBSTANCE: invention relates to demonstration and processing of images, particularly, to hue representation and/or display of colour range and can be used for production of high-quality images at target displays at preservations of creative concept. These images are converted for demonstration at target display. Note here that sigmoid function of conversion allows the free parameter that controls the contrast of medium hues. Conversion function can be dynamically corrected for adaptation to varying conditions of outer illumination. Conversion can be selected so that its adapts automatically the image data for demonstration target display so that, in fact, creative idea is preserved in said images.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of display of visual images.
