FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to lithium batteries, namely to the development of carbon monofluoride lithuim elements having improved discharge characteristics at low temperatures. Low-temperature carbon monofluoride lithuim elements contains fluocarbon cathode, metallic lithium anode, separator and electrolyte containing salt dissolved in a mixture of solvents, wherein the electrolyte includes salt LiPF6 in a mixture of ethylene carbonate/dimethylcarbonate/methylethylcarbonate (1:1:3). Electrolyte can additionally contain crown-ether in amount of 0.5-50 vol. %. Electrolyte can contain “15-crown-5”.
EFFECT: improved discharge characteristics of lithium battery at low temperatures.
