FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding of stainless steel, in particular, steels series 400, welding wire with flux core. Stainless chromium steel tubular shell contains, wt%: 10-18 of Cr, less than 5 of Ni. Flux placed in it contains, wt%: Cr 68, Mn 1-10 and Si 2-15 and Fe is rest. Welding wire filling factor makes 5-25 %, preferably 10-20 %. Weld by said wire metal has homogeneous chemical composition. Due to reduction of loss of chromium during transfer in weld metal to less than 0.1 % of welding wire with flux core not rust under action of air for long time.
EFFECT: wire has high stability of, at that, excluding unfavourable circumstances process associated with high coefficient of its filling.
