FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mounting structure of optical sensor, which is used in display device displaying images and in which there is no gap between reflective sheet and tubular damper to prevent ingress of external light in optical sensor. Liquid crystal display device 1 for displaying images includes optical sensor 12, which measures light from back surface of reflecting sheet 104, substrate 11 with optical sensor 12, and tubular damper 13 to prevent ingress of external light in optical sensor 12. Front surface of tubular damper 13 is attached to reflective plate 104, while its rear surface is attached to substrate 11.
EFFECT: more accurate measurement of quantity of light from illumination.
