FIELD: telecommunications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic video surveillance carried out by television-computer system by means of “circular” photodetector within area close to a hemisphere, i.e. in spatial angle of 360 degrees in azimuth and tens of degrees in angle of site. Result is as follows: photodetector made by CCD technology on a crystal in the form of a circular ring, contains a “circular” target, a “circular” memory section, a “circular” shift register ending with “charge-voltage” conversion unit (CVCU), where the lines of target light-sensitive elements and the line of shielded memory section elements are arranged along radial directions from imagined center of circular ring to its outer periphery and the “circular” shift register located there, and the number of “circular” lines formed on the photodetector target equals the number of “circular” lines formed on its memory section, the number of elements in every “circular” line of target and in each “circular” line of the photodetector memory section is equal to the number of elements in its “circular” shift register, the lines of light-sensitive elements, which directly and successively connected by charge coupling with the lines of memory section elements, occupy the whole area of the photodetector target.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of sensitivity of the circular photodetector due to increased area of light-sensitive elements on the target while retaining its geometric dimensions and without sensitivity substitution by any other parameter.
