FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to impact on atmosphere. Device for initiation of precipitation in atmosphere is made of two diverse sources of ionising air molecules in enclosing working volume. Sources operate in turns in power and time synchronised pulse mode by switching polarity of supply voltage (1) with high-voltage switch (2) of common power source in corona electrodes made of radial wires geometric “umbrella”. Electrodes are suspended on central support mast (5) from composite material and auxiliary masts (6) tension members (7) radial wires (4) connected along perimeter of circle "umbrella". Device includes unit (9) of feeding corona electrodes from power supply and linear accelerator (10) of elementary particles. Said unit located near central mast, is intended for bombardment air molecules with collimated beam of high-energy elementary particles in vertical plane in injection (11) section and output section (12). Section operates under control of energy of elementary particles and earthing device (3) of supply source composed of helical pipes. Pipes are buried in soil along parallel beam pattern of "umbrella" geometry.
EFFECT: providing faster ion formation and reduction of time interval to precipitation.
