SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, neurology. Invention can be used for treating median nerve neuropathy in carpal canal. Electric current is alternately transmitted through motor and sensory fibres of the injured median nerve. Simultaneously, a low-intensity laser exposure is applied to the area of the carpal canal.
EFFECT: method provides improved nerve conductivity, accelerated regenerative processes, improved microcirculation, accumulation of growth factors, improved antegrade and retrograde axonal transport with achieving maximum anti-inflammatory effect in the area of electric current exposure.
