FIELD: impact action device.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic hammer comprising a working tool, casing, a housing accommodating hammer with through axial hole, which divides body cavity into chambers of working and idle runs, and a cover containing multichannel tube. Tube is provided with discharge channel in form of radial and longitudinal channels and bypass channel in form of radial and longitudinal channels. Hammer is configured for subsequent closure of radial bypass channel and radial outlet channel and opening of radial bypass tube with its working stroke, and closing of radial bypass channel and opening of radial outlet channel of tube during idling. During opening of radial bypass tube communication is provided between working and idle stroke chambers by means of radial bypass channel and longitudinal bypass channel in said tube. During opening of radial outlet channel of tube communication is provided between idle stroke chamber with atmosphere.
EFFECT: reduced air consumption, higher frequency and power of hammer.
