FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marine hydrometeorology and can be used for determining sea ices drift. Subject matter: displacement of sea ices is observed, while displaying on the monitor their movement path. At that: change of coordinates of ice floes is determined by means of satellite and/or hydroacoustic navigation system. When displayed on monitor ice paths potentially dangerous ice floes are determined, as well as distance of approach of these floes and time for making decision on localisation thereof. On the detected potentially dangerous floes by drone equipped with magnetometer is dispersed ferromagnetic material with different coercive spectrum of magnetization. At periodic drone flights over potentially dangerous ice floes formed with ferromagnetic material magnetic field is measured using the magnetometer. Data obtained by means of magnetometer installed on drone is used at determining speed and direction of potentially dangerous ice floes.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of labor costs, expansion of functional capabilities.
