SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting. Template (2) for centering guide rolls at the base of the crystallizer comprises tubular frame (5) of round section with groups of longitudinal slits arranged at equal angular distance from each other, group of longitudinal plates (7) for insertion of each plate into the corresponding lengthwise slit and at least one inflatable chamber (8) installed inside tubular frame (5). Template is inserted into the crystallizer and expanded at least one inflatable chamber, thus providing the movement of the longitudinal plates outside through the tubular frame and their contact with inner walls of the crystallizer.
EFFECT: accurate and fast centering of the guide rolls is provided.
