FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed strickle has two lengthwise elements 4 with outer surface shaped to mate with the shape of casting mould inner wall sections. Strickle first section is located over the mould entire length while its second section is located outside the mould in rolls location area. At least one air chamber 7, 7' is arranged inside the strickle 1 to surround strickle length section located all along the mould. Air chamber can expand to bring said lengthwise elements in contact with appropriate mould inner wall sections. Rolls are centered nearby mould base by moving them to each other unless contact of said rolls 22 along the guide with lengthwise elements 4.

EFFECT: fast and accurate centering.
