SUBSTANCE: invention relates to xerographic printing devices, in particular to the formation of toners. The method involves the formation of a toner from a mixture of at least one resin, at least one wax and, optionally, at least one dye, while at least one wax is of the type and is present in an amount that is selected to provide a measured value of the total amount of UDP ejected during the 10-minute printing phase PER10 for a toner that is no more than 1×1011 particles/cm3, the measurement of the PER10 value for the toner, and the measured PER10 value for the toner is no more than 1×1011 particles/cm3.

EFFECT: emission of ultrafine particles is reduced.
