SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration densitometers and, particularly, to vibration densitometer with vibration element for vibration densitometer, having improved separation of oscillating modes. Vibration element (500) for vibration densitometer (800) includes inner surface (531) with one or more concave sections (730). At that, internal surface (531) of vibration element (500) includes one or more convex areas (530) with such dimensions and location, which increase frequency separation between resonance frequency of desired oscillating drive mode and resonant frequency of one or more undesirable oscillation modes.
EFFECT: technical result is increased separation of resonance frequencies of oscillation modes, as well as high accuracy of measuring density.
