FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses electrical cables containing a cable core and a plurality of conductive elements surrounding cable core. Cable core comprises at least one composite core, wherein each composite core comprises a rod (514), which comprises a plurality of unidirectionally aligned fibre rovings (526) embedded within a thermoplastic polymer matrix (528), containing polyaryl sulphide, and surrounded by a capping layer (519), containing polyether ketone.
EFFECT: invention ensures strength, durability and temperature parameters for various applications, such as air cables for power transmission.
