FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid linear multiply channel, particularly to method of its fabrication and to structural element. Claimed channel comprises the first component composed of compacted multiply material consisting of separate bands each including multiple continuous fibres oriented, in fact, longitudinally. This channel contains tarry matrix including one or several thermoplastic polymers and continuous fibres embedded therein. Continuous fibres make from about 40 wt % to about 90 wt % of said band. Continuous fibres make from about 10 wt % to about 60 wt % of said band. Claimed channel features bending elasticity modulus of about 10 GPa or higher.
EFFECT: higher strength of articles.
