FIELD: warning operation; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preventive jobs for prevention of ice jams formation at river section and can be used for ice cover softening in areas of underwater communication, particularly over underwater junctions of main gas lines and oil pipelines, as well as on water bodies with sea facilities used for economic activities. Method for softening ice cover consists in blacking ice surface cleaned of snow and placing volume lenses focusing solar beams on the surface of the blacken ice. Volume lenses focusing solar beams are located above the recesses in ice. Volume lenses are made from macrolon in the form of Fresnel lenses and installed on ice by means of an unmanned aircraft. Blacking ice surface is carried out by spraying blacking substances directly with the unmanned aircraft, by means of which ice is cleaned of snow.
EFFECT: expanding functionality due to increased area of softening ice cover with simultaneous increase of operations efficiency.
