FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control unit (1) and a method for such unit control in power transmission over Ethernet (PoE) set. Control unit (1) contains at least one first port (12a), to which external device (2) can be connected, and it is made with the possibility of power control delivered on first port (12a) depending upon the predetermined rules for switching.
EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of light intensity level control in separate lamps.
