FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: silhouette target is intended for use in testing equipment when determining characteristics of fragmentation field and destructive capacity fragmentation ammunition, as well as for personnel training in shooting from small arms and artillery weapon. Target is made of at least three connected mutually perpendicular flat silhouette outlines, corresponding front, profile and horizontal projections of an object to be struck. Connection of frontal and profile silhouette outlines is performed along vertical axis of symmetry of frontal outline, and connection therewith of horizontal silhouette outline is performed at level of maximum cross-section of chest of object to be struck.

EFFECT: wider range of use of target by enabling to see striking elements falling on said target from all possible directions.
