SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition based on Galega Oriental and method of its production. Composition of Galega Oriental is mechanocomposite which consists of hydrolysing and/or salt-forming component and dried herb of Galega Oriental. As a hydrolysing and/or saliferous component the composition may contain sodium hydroxide, or ascorbic acid, or an enzyme preparation exhibiting activity with respect to Galega Oriental, the latter may be selected enzyme preparation having mainly cellulolytic activity. Method for obtaining composition based on Galega Oriental provides for mixing dried herb of Galega Oriental with hydrolyzing and/orsaliferous component in the ratio (95-99):(1-5) by weight, respectively. Obtained mixture undergoes mechanochemical treatment in a mill-activator. Mill-activator is represented by flow-through ball vibrocentrifugal, ellipse centrifugal and roll centrifugal mills, providing acceleration of acting bodies of 80-250 m/s2 and exposition time 0.5-2.5 min.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a product with increased content of water-soluble extractive substances of Galega Oriental dry herb which may be used in medicine, veterinary science, food industry and agriculture.
