FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to synchronous linear drive for acceleration of the rotor to hypersonic speeds. Rotor of hard magnetic material with residual radial magnetization is made in the form of a disc with central hole and is located between stator and guide rail of soft magnetic material. Stator winding generates running magnetic field. Interaction of magnetic fields of rotor and stator leads to force occurence, directed towards the least tension, under action of which drive along guide rail is speeded up to hypersonic speeds.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability.
