FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for inspecting containers, particularly, from below through bottom part. Device includes at least transportation section, lighting unit (10, 10a, 10b), camera (12), as well as optical system (1), as well as transparent installed with possibility of rotation around central axis (X), hollow body (13), which is located below vessel to be inspected. Optical system (1) is located inside rotating transparent hollow housing (13) fixed so that vessels to be inspected can be examined with at least one camera (12) through bottom part (4) of vessel in direction to neck opening.
EFFECT: higher quality of inspection.
