FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measurement and can be used for measuring electrically conducting liquids speed and its fluctuations. Device for measuring liquid speed comprises an electric resistance meter and two electrodes connected to the meter, one of which is fixed opposite the other. Device includes a dielectric plate with hole which is located between the electrodes. Hole of the dielectric plate is located between the electrodes. Plate plane coincides with direction of a liquid speed vector. Plate is installed on an elastic element to move under action of liquid flow and is equipped with the hydrodynamic resistance element.

EFFECT: technical result is increased sensitivity of measuring liquid speed and accuracy of measuring fluctuations speed, which is achieved due to reducing the shunting action of the surrounding medium on resistance between electrodes and, therefore, increasing change resistance magnification.
