FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device to measure fluid medium flow comprises a pipeline from dielectric material, permanent magnets arranged at different sides from a pipeline, and an oscillating circuit made of an inductance coil and a capacitor, armatures of which are located at both sides of the pipeline. In the oscillating circuit they excite resonant oscillations of electromagnet field. Fluid medium moving in the permanent magnetic field is polarised under action of Lorentz forces, as a result of which the electric field of the oscillating circuit capacitor varies, as well as dielectric permeability of fluid medium and duration of the first and second half-periods of resonant oscillations of the electromagnetic field of the oscillating circuit. Fluid medium flow is determined by variation of duration of the first or second half-periods of resonant oscillations of the oscillating circuit electromagnetic field.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements.
