FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to machine building, namely to repair kits for recovery of brake shoes of drum brakes of trucks and other vehicles. Repair kit comprises four brake pads, each being made with a concave and convex surface, as well as with rows of holes for rivets. Concave and convex surfaces of brake pads are rough with a certain configuration and arrangement of ledges and recesses formed in the result of grinding.
EFFECT: prevention of displacement of pads on the surface of the shoe during installation and reduced wear of pads during running-in, as well as minimisation of this process.
