FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to repair kits for recovery of brake shoes of drum brakes of trucks and other vehicles. Repair kit comprises four brake pads, each of which is made with a concave and a convex surfaces, as well as with rows of holes for rivets, and steel rivets as per the number of the holes. Concave and convex surfaces of the brake pads are rough with certain configuration and arrangement of ledges and recesses formed in the process of grinding.
EFFECT: achieved is counteraction to displacement of the pads onto the surface of the shoe during mounting and reduced wear of the pads during running-in, as well as reduction of this process.
