SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to sets equipped with wear indicators for brake pads for drum brakes of cars and other machines. The drum brake pad kit includes metal rivets and brake pads with wear indicators. To increase the visual visibility of the wear indicators relative to the flat side surfaces of the linings, the flat side surfaces of the linings outside the wear indicators are made glossy, and the surfaces of the wear indicators are matte with a surface roughness characterized by a Ra parameter of at least 0.07 mm.
EFFECT: increasing the visibility of wear indicators relative to the flat side surfaces of the pads.
