SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to gear transmissions, lubricated by grease. Gear wheel includes body, gear rim with teeth and a pair of end patch pieces fixed on teeth ends and ends of body. In side surfaces of teeth on adjacent sections of said surfaces to end straps, there are grooves. Grooves have width not less than required gap between end straps and ends of teeth of paired wheel gear.

EFFECT: result is higher quality of lubrication.
