Described is a strain of hybrid animal cells Mus musculus L.Strain produces monoclonal antibody 5H6, specific to conformation epitope of glycoprotein E of West Nile virus. Also described is a kit for detecting glycoprotein E of West Nile virus by enzyme immunoassay of "sandwich" format containing said antibody.

EFFECT: disclosed group of inventions can be used in medicine, immunology and biotechnology for detection of West Nile virus antigen.
