METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF ACUTE THROMBOSIS OR RESTENOSIS OF MAIN ARTERIES OF HEAD AFTER ENDOVASCULAR ANGIOPLASTY WITH STENTING Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B8/00

Abstract RU 2595485 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly neurosurgery. Coefficient of stenting proportionality of main arteries of head (Kst) is determined by formula Kst=πD2/4L, where D is diameter of the artery after stenting in mm, L-length of stented segment of artery in mm. If Kst< 0.5, critical level of thrombosis/restenosis developing is prognosed. If Kst 0.5-1.5 subcritical level of thrombosis/restenosis developing is prognosed. If Kst> 1.5 risk of thrombosis/restenosis developing is minimal.

EFFECT: method enables detecting patients in acute need of sufficiently aggressive anticoagulant therapy.
