SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely vascular surgery, and can be used in the treatment of obliterating atherosclerosis of the arteries of the lower extremities. The method includes the determination of Bax and sFas proteins in blood serum by enzyme immunoassay. With an increase in the amount of Bax protein to 34.8±7.7 ng/ml in the first hour and to 32.2±5.2 ng/ml on the first day and an increase in the amount of sFas to 0.58±0.24 ng/ml on the 21st day after endovascular interventions on the main arteries of the lower extremities, the development of restenosis of the reconstruction zone is predicted in 9-12 months after surgery.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to develop an effective method for predicting the development of restenosis after endovascular interventions on the main arteries of the lower extremities.
