SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, paediatrics and perinatology, child neurology. After the age of 6 months a delay of forming the hands defense reflex - hand support - is determined or a weak evidence of the hands defense reflex - vertical orientation predictor. For the prediction the time index assessment of the hands defense reflex is used as well as of involved arm parts: a hand, a forearm or a shoulder in the hand support. High risk of delay in forming motor skills as the spastic cerebral paralysis or a hyperkinesis will be appearance of hand support from the hand level - since the age of 8 months with the prediction of motor skills delay of up to 60 %, from the forearm level - since the age of 12 months with the prediction of motor skills delay of up to 85 %, from the shoulder level - since the age of 13 months with the prediction of motor skills delay of up to 80 %.

EFFECT: method provides early prediction of the percentage of high risk of motor skills delay in infants with perinatal cerebral affection, differentiated approach in determination of the disease as the spastic cerebral paralysis or a hyperkinesis due to a simple motor skills delay within the child individual features.
