METHOD OF PREDICTING DISTURBANCES IN MOTOR DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN WITH PERINATAL LESIONS OF CNS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/488

Abstract RU 2393763 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to children's neurology. Electroneuro-myographic research of median and tibial nerves in children of five-six months age is carried out. Amplitude of F-wave is determined and ratio of larger amplitude value to smaller is calculated. If obtained ratio of amplitudes is higher than 1.5 favorable course of disease with its compensation by the end of first year if life is predicted, and if ratio of amplitudes is lower than 1.5 unfavorable course is predicted with absence of compensation.

EFFECT: method allows to predict absence of compensation of present motor malfunctions in child, which gives possibility of timely carrying out correction of taken treatment measures for prevention of unfavorable results in children by the end of first year of life.
