FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of treating carbon dioxide (CO2) contained in a stream of waste gas. Waste gas flow in drying and cooling chamber stays in contact with wet porous silica material with addition of aluminium hydroxide and/or aluminium oxy-hydrate and/or optionally another metal oxidising agent to form a basic aqueous medium, wherein destabilisation of carbon dioxide (CO2) occurs, and waste gas flow is cooled, amount of added aluminium hydroxide and/or aluminium oxy-hydrate is controlled by means of continuous measurement of pH value, further, aqueous medium is supplied to next preliminary chamber. filled with a material containing oxidisable alkali-earth and/or heavy metal, wherein neutralisation of aqueous medium containing ionised carbon occurs, and formed alkali-earth oxide and/or heavy metal is removed from preliminary chamber, and aqueous medium containing ionised carbon then enters chamber filled with material consisting of organic carbon compound and/or material containing an organic carbon.
EFFECT: production of carbon-enriched product from organic substance-containing materials and carbon dioxide (CO2).
