SUBSTANCE: invention relates to displaying an image of an application. Disclosed is a method of displaying an image of an application used in a device having a first operating system and a second operating system, where the first operating system comprises a storage device having a memory area intended for an application of the second operating system and which includes the following: performing read and write operations by the second operating system in the memory area and sending a display request at the end of said operations in order to request a display process with respect to the image of the application stored in the memory area; receiving a request from the first operating system to display from the second operating system and reading the image of the application stored in the memory area; estimating by the first operating system the need for a windowed mode manager for processing the image of the application according to the configuration of the local image display system, and if the need for a windowed mode manager exists, transmitting the image of the application to the windowed mode manager and transmitting the image of the application processed by the windowed mode manager to a graphic display library for processing; and in another version - transmitting the image of the application directly to the graphic display library for processing; and determining the frame buffer position using a display driver, transmitting the image of the application processed by the graphic display library to the frame buffer, displaying the image of the application by the frame buffer.
