SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a homogenised tobacco material suitable for use in a heated aerosol-producing article, e.g., such as a smoking article attributed to the type "heated, without ignition". Proposed is a heated aerosol-producing article for producing an inhaled aerosol, wherein the heated aerosol-producing article comprises a rod from an aerosol-producing substrate formed from one or more sheets of a homogenised tobacco material formed by agglomeration of particles of a tobacco material and containing from 1 wt.% to 10 wt.% of triglyceride oil with medium-length chains as calculated for dry weight, with a melting point below 18 degrees Celsius and containing one or more triglycerides with at least two fatty acid chains with a chain length from 6 to 12 carbon atoms, wherein one or more sheets of homogenised tobacco material are selected from a reduced tobacco leaf and a moulded sheet.

EFFECT: improved delivery of volatile compounds even with a reduction in the operating temperatures.
